30 July 2020, SINGAPORE – Informa Markets, the organizer of Vitafoods Asia, wishes to inform the public that due to the challenges, complexities and disruptions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, that a difficult decision has been made to postpone the in-person event of Vitafoods Asia 2020 to September 2021.

This conclusion was not easily reached and took into consideration the health and safety of our community, as well as government and businesses restrictions on travel and gatherings. Therefore, the proactive decision to act was made early, affording enough time for the industry to adjust their plans.

To continue to support the industry, Vitafoods Asia is developing its long-term vision on how to work with the industry in this new reality. Informa has agreed with key stakeholders and partners to focus on alternate means to support the industry in 2020, with a commitment that the Vitafoods Asia in-person event will return stronger than ever in 2021.

One response to our communities needs to connect, collaborate, and seek meaningful content in the Nutraceutical industry this year, is to host a new, global digital experience, the
Vitafoods Virtual Expo, to be held online between 7 to 11 September 2020.

A large-scale interactive event, the Vitafoods Virtual Expo will provide a virtual meeting place for the global nutraceutical supply chain to build high-value relationships, showcase and source innovative ingredients, discover the latest trends and together, find practical business solutions for the greatest challenges ahead.

The Vitafoods Virtual Expo draws on a trusted global network of suppliers and buyers. Data-driven matchmaking, complemented by a concierge service, will connect relevant visitors and exhibitors via 1-2-1 video meetings.

The event will provide content to inform and inspire innovation across the entire nutraceutical supply chain, through consumer and market trends as well as ground-breaking scientific insights. Furthermore, support in the form of regulatory guidance will help stakeholders navigate the increasingly complex route to market worldwide.

Group networking events that match like-minded peers will also be hosted via Thematic Micro-Communities, which focus on key industry topics including sports nutrition, botanicals, healthy ageing, immune health, probiotics, omega-3s, and product development.
